Job summary

Family Dollar is seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our store team and deliver a great shopping experience for every customer.

You will assist customers, handle sales transactions at the register, restock merchandise, maintain store cleanliness, and uphold safety and courtesy in interactions with customers and coworkers. This is a part-time, on-site role with opportunities to grow.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and perform repeated movements.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Stock replenishment and store cleanliness throughout the shift.
• Unload trucks and receive merchandise as needed.
