Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our team, delivering a positive shopping experience for every customer in our store.

You will assist customers, handle transactions at the cash register, stock shelves, replenish items, maintain a safe, clean, and friendly environment, and support team members with daily tasks. Part-time position with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail-based customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Capable of lifting 30–50 lbs and physical tasks including standing, walking, stocking.
• Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Ensure a safe, respectful environment with professional interactions.
• Maintain store cleanliness including bathrooms and floors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
