Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to support daily store operations, assist customers, process transactions, stock shelves, and maintain a clean, safe shopping environment.

You will handle cash, unload shipments, restock, and protect company assets while delivering friendly, helpful service. The role emphasizes reliability, teamwork, and following instructions in a busy store setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help unload trucks; stock replenishment.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful store environment with professional interactions.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, trash, and neat presentation.
• Other duties as assigned.
