Job summary

Family Dollar is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate in Shepherd, TX to deliver a friendly shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions, stock shelves, unload trucks, and keep the store clean and safe.

Prior retail or service experience is valued, and the role requires physical capability to lift 30–50 lbs and stand for long periods. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential to maintain a positive team environment and excellent customer

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hospitality, or service industries preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, and bending.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Process sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and restock merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help unload trucks; stock replenishment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and presentable store environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
