Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a Customer Service Associate in Bloomington, IL to assist customers, handle transactions, and keep the store clean and well-stocked. You will unload merchandise, stock shelves, and ensure a positive shopping environment while following safety and company policies.

The role requires good communication, reliability, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Prior retail or customer service experience is preferred, along with the ability to read and follow instructions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and read operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, and lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and stock replenishment per productivity standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and presentable store environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
