Job summary

Lowe’s is hiring a part-time Customer Service Associate in the United States. You will greet customers, help them find products for home improvement, and ensure their needs are met with friendly, efficient service.

You may stock shelves, process orders and deliveries, and cross-train in other departments to deliver the best shopping experience. Eligible associates receive benefits, a 10% discount, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Six months experience using a computer for inputting and retrieving information.
• Six months experience with common retail technology such as smartphones and tablets.
• Reading, writing and basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction).
• Ability to stand or sit for extended periods and perform job duties.
• Able to lift at least 25 lbs unassisted or with assistance as needed.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe's, answer questions, and deliver friendly, professional service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Stock shelves by identifying empty spaces and replenishing supplies.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive items on time.
• Cross-train in other areas to help deliver the best customer service.
• Prepare merchandise in your department (e.g., tint and mix paint, cut pipes, trim wood).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
