Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking a friendly, customer-focused retail associate to assist shoppers, process transactions at the register, stock shelves, and maintain clean, safe store conditions in Lansdowne, PA.

You’ll work part-time, interact with customers daily, follow store procedures, and help unload trucks during stock replenishment; prior retail or service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents required.
• Must be able to lift 30-50 lbs and handle frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and unload trucks; stock replenishment per productivity standards.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Keep store clean and presentable including bathrooms, floors, and trash.
• Other duties as assigned.
