Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our Pennsylvania store and deliver a great shopping experience for every customer. You will assist customers, handle transactions, stock shelves, unload trucks, and keep the store safe and presentable.

You will work part-time at a location in Pennsylvania, providing friendly service, maintaining high standards of cleanliness, and supporting leadership with daily operations and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment in accordance with productivity standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment while maintaining professional interactions with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Responsible for maintaining cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, trash, and neat presentation.
• Other duties as assigned.
