Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is hiring for a part-time role at our Minnesota store. You will receive shipments, stock shelves, and help maintain a clean, inviting shopping environment. You’ll handle transactions at the register, protect cash and company assets, and support customers and teammates daily.

We seek individuals with strong customer service skills, reliability, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Prior retail exposure is highly preferred, with opportunities to grow within a nationwide

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, and pulling.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills required.
• High level of integrity required.
• Proficiency in basic math for cash accounting required.

Responsibilities

• Receiving merchandise, unloading trucks, and processing freight safely.
• Merchandising and stocking as needed.
• Assisting with cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms and floors.
• Maintaining a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and associates.
• Managing sales transactions at the cash register and handling cash securely.
• Performing other duties as assigned.
