Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate in Minneapolis, MN to deliver a friendly shopping experience. You will assist customers, operate the cash register, stock merchandise, and keep the store clean and safe.

A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, with prior retail or customer service experience highly valued. You must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and communicate clearly while working with teammates to provide excellent service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Prior customer service experience in retail or related environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs with frequent movement and standing.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while operating the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and assist with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful store environment.
• Keep the store clean including bathrooms, floors, and trash disposal.
• Other duties as assigned.
