Job summary

Michaels Stores, The Michaels Companies Inc., is seeking a Store Team Member for AUS-LAKELINE, TX to deliver friendly customer service, assist shoppers, and help keep the store well stocked and easy to shop. You will handle checkout, educate customers on rewards and private label cards, and support omnichannel processes like BOPIS and SFS.

The role includes stocking, planogram tasks, and merchandise recovery to uphold brand promises.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; cash handling to standards
• Encourage enrollment in Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards
• Educate customers on VOC surveys
• Assist with BOPIS and SFS processes
• Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram maintenance
• Handle merchandise recovery and store recovery to keep shelves in stock
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies; be a positive role model
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
• Other duties as assigned
