Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. is seeking team members to deliver exceptional customer experiences at our Reno, NV area stores.

You will engage customers, maintain clean sales floors, and support merchandising and loss prevention programs across TJ Maxx, Marshalls, HomeGoods, and related TJX brands. We value strong communication, multitasking, and teamwork, with the ability to adapt to changes in direction or unexpected situations.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to engage with customers
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule to support business needs
• Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced retail environment
• Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without accommodations
• Able to work well with peers and supervisors
• Retail customer experience is preferred

Responsibilities

• Deliver a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging with customers and maintaining store standards
• Model customer experience best practices for internal and external customers
• Promote credit and loyalty programs to customers
• Ring purchases/returns accurately and count change according to procedures
• Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor following standards
• Support store recovery and maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the day
• Participate in safety initiatives and loss prevention programs
• Other duties as assigned
