Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers with questions, manage transactions at the cash register, and help keep the store stocked and clean. The role requires strong customer service, organizational, and communication skills, with an emphasis on safety and courtesy.

Part-time position located at the Waterville area store. Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent and prior retail or service experience

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents; must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking and lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and presentable store environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
