Job summary

G&M Oil Company Inc. is seeking a retail associate to deliver outstanding customer service in a busy store environment. You will operate the POS system, process transactions, and ensure a clean, safe workspace for customers and employees.

Responsibilities include stocking shelves, assisting customers, and following all policies and local regulations. You will contribute to sales goals through friendly, proactive service and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong computer skills; experience with POS systems preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to learn simple tasks quickly and work with little supervision.
• Basic math skills.
• English communication ability.
• Open availability to work all shifts within district when needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate POS and handle money accurately and quickly.
• Enter all transactions into the register and account for funds.
• Stock shelves with new merchandise and maintain store cleanliness.
• Prepare hot food items as designated by Store Manager.
• Ensure store is free of litter and spills; sanitize equipment.
• Check IDs for alcohol, tobacco, and lottery per policy.
• Follow safety procedures and participate in sales promotions and routines.
• Work night shifts when required and perform other duties as assigned by Store Manager.
