Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience for every customer at our Montgomery Village location.

You will assist customers with questions, manage transactions at the register, and help maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment. This role emphasizes friendly customer interactions and teamwork, with additional duties as assigned to support store operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform frequent walking, standing, and lifting activities.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms and floors.
• Other duties as assigned.
