Job summary

Goodwill NCW is seeking a retail team member in Wisconsin to support customer service, cash handling, and merchandising duties. You will assist customers, process transactions, and help maintain clean, organized backroom/retail areas.

The role involves standing for long periods, lifting up to 25 pounds, and working a flexible schedule including holidays and weekends. Fluency in English and basic computer skills are required.

Qualifications

• Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
• Excellent communication, customer service and attention to detail.
• Ability to operate a cash register and accurately count money.
• Basic math skills required.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Ensures customer satisfaction by efficiently and accurately scanning tickets and processing payment.
• Educates customers on Round Up program to achieve program goals.
• Informs customers on Good Points program to achieve program goals.
• Operates telephone including professionally answering calls and operating the paging system.
• Ensures items are properly displayed, pulled, and restocked in alignment with merchandising standards and leadership guidance.
• Assists customers in locating items when possible or seeks assistance for the customer if unable to help.
• Maintains a clean, safe, and organized work area; completes opening/closing checklists and supports general cleaning, including parking lot maintenance.
