Job summary

Goodwill NCW is seeking a full-time team member for its Oshkosh, WI location. You will handle scanning, payments, and merchandising duties while delivering friendly customer service.

The role requires strong communication, basic math skills, and reliable attendance, with flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays. Experience with computers is a plus; training is provided to learn systems used in-store.

Qualifications

• Time management and ability to multitask under time constraints.
• Strong communication, customer service, and attention to detail.
• Able to operate a cash register and count money accurately.
• Basic math skills required.
• Fluent in English.
• Experience with computers or willingness to learn.
• Reliable transportation and ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, evenings, and weekends, with regular and timely attendance.

Responsibilities

• Scan tickets and process payments accurately following cash handling standards.
• Educate customers on Round Up program to meet goals.
• Inform customers about Good Points program to meet goals.
• Operate telephone and paging system professionally.
• Display, pull, and restock items per merchandising standards.
• Help customers locate items or call for assistance.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized work area and complete opening/closing checklists and general cleaning, including parking lot maintenance.
