Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. is hiring a Retail Associate to deliver a highly satisfying customer experience across our stores. You will engage with customers, process transactions, maintain a clean sales floor, and support safety and loss-prevention standards.

You should have excellent customer service, be able to work a flexible schedule, and communicate clearly. Prior retail experience is preferred. Starting pay ranges from $12.75 to $13.25 per hour, with a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Role models established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
• Maintains and upholds merchandising philosophy and follows procedures.
• Accurately rings customer purchases/returns and counts change back to customer.
• Promotes credit and loyalty programs.
• Maintains store cleanliness and participates in safety awareness.
• Supports loss prevention and participates in store recovery as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
