Job summary

Family Dollar in Struthers, OH is seeking a Customer Service Associate II to help manage daily store operations and serve customers. You will assist with merchandising, stock, and front-end duties while maintaining a welcoming environment.

You’ll work the cash register, protect cash, and support team members across the store. The role offers part-time hours with opportunities to learn multiple tasks, including shelf replenishment, cleanliness, and customer assistance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail or service experience preferred.
• Able to lift 30–50 lbs and stand/walk frequently.
• Able to follow instructions and read operational documents.
• Basic math skills for cash handling.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily store operations, from merchandising to customer service.
• Support cash register and front-end duties as needed.
• Receive merchandise and process freight safely per standards.
• Maintain store cleanliness, restrooms, floors, and presentation.
• Ensure a positive, respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Protect cash and company assets; perform other duties as assigned.
