Job summary

Family Dollar in Ohio is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience for every customer. You will assist customers, manage sales transactions at the register, and help keep the store well-stocked.

This part-time role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with prior retail or service experience preferred. You will work with the team to provide friendly, professional service and maintain a clean, safe store environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hospitality, or similar environment preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, and movement.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, and common areas.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
