Job summary

Family Dollar is seeking a Customer Service Associate to help deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions, stock shelves, unload trucks, and maintain store cleanliness. This role requires strong customer service and the ability to work at a cash register in a fast-paced retail environment.

Part-time position based at the Oak Hill, Ohio location. The team emphasizes safety, professionalism, and courteous interactions with customers and colleagues.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environments preferred.
• Ability to interpret operational documents and follow instructions.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and stock replenishment per productivity standards.
• Maintain a positive, safe, respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Ensure store cleanliness including bathrooms, floors, and trash.
• Other duties as assigned.
