Responsibilities

• Adhere to all local, state and federal health and civil codes.
• Create a welcoming environment and assist customers with product questions and recommendations.
• Know products in the department and respond to inquiries with helpful suggestions.
• Understand store layout to locate products efficiently.
• Educate associates about promotions and price changes affecting the department.
• Stay updated on ads, promotions and seasonal offers.
• Monitor inventory and note discrepancies.
• Observe store hours and maintain merchandising standards.
• Perform cashier duties and operate the register accurately.
• Ensure compliance with all merchandising, labor, safety and loss prevention rules.
