Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC. is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, process transactions, stock shelves, unload trucks, and keep the store clean and safe while maintaining professional interactions with customers, associates, and leaders.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and handle frequent movement.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Must be able to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Stock shelves and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and unload trucks; stock replenishment.
• Keep the store clean, safe, and presentable; restock bathrooms, sweep and mop floors, take out trash.
