Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of North Carolina LLC in Wendell, NC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, process transactions at the register, and keep the store clean and organized.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and endure frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, and repetitive lifting.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help unload trucks; stock replenishment per productivity standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers, associates, and leaders.
• Maintain cleanliness of the store, bathrooms, floors, and trash areas.
• Other duties as assigned.
