Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of North Carolina LLC in Weldon, NC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, process transactions, stock shelves, and keep the store clean and safe.

We value strong customer service, clear communication, and reliability. Previous retail or service experience is preferred, and you should be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail or similar environment is preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks.
• Maintain a positive, safe and respectful environment.
• Keep the store clean including bathrooms and floors.
• Other duties as assigned.
