Job summary

Family Dollar is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate in Toccoa, GA, to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions, stock shelves, unload trucks, and maintain store cleanliness with a friendly, professional demeanor.

Candidates should have a high school diploma (or equivalent) and prior retail or service experience is preferred. The role requires physical tasks including lifting and standing for long periods, with a focus on safety and customer

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical tasks (standing, walking, etc.).
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
• Keep the store stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help unload trucks; stock replenishment as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and presentable store environment.
