Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior customer service experience in retail, hospitality, grocery, or drug store is highly preferred
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and do frequent walking, standing, bending, and climbing
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise
• Receive merchandise and assist unloading trucks, stock replenishment
• Maintain a positive, safe, respectful environment with customers and colleagues
• Keep the store clean, bathrooms stocked, floors swept and mopped, and trash removed
• Other duties as assigned
