Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of South Carolina LLC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience for every customer at our Pageland store. You will assist customers with questions and recommendations and help manage sales transactions at the register.

Responsibilities include keeping the store stocked, maintaining a clean environment, and providing friendly, professional service while following store procedures and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and endure frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and replenish merchandise.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and respectful environment for customers and colleagues.
• Perform store cleaning and restocking tasks including bathrooms, floors, and waste handling.
• Other duties as assigned.
