Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of South Carolina LLC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our team and provide a great shopping experience for every customer. You will assist customers with questions, handle transactions at the register, and help keep the store clean and well-stocked.

You’ll work in a fast-paced retail environment, with a focus on friendly interactions and teamwork. This part-time position offers flexibility and opportunities to grow within the company.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks and stock replenishment
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with professional interactions
• Maintain store cleanliness including bathrooms, floors, and trash
• Other duties as assigned
