Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of South Carolina LLC is hiring a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions at the register, protect cash and assets, and keep the store stocked and clean.

The role emphasizes friendly interactions, safety, and professional conduct with customers and teammates, with additional duties as needed. Part-time position at our Woodruff location.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, and bending.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working the assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and colleagues.
• Maintain store cleanliness, including bathrooms, floors, and trash disposal.
• Other duties as assigned.
