Job summary

Dollar Tree in Boone, NC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, process transactions, and help stock and maintain the store.

You will ensure a safe, friendly environment, handle unloading and receiving duties, and support merchandising. The role emphasizes excellent customer service, teamwork, and maintaining store cleanliness and order.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents required.
• Must lift 30–50 lbs and handle frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing/pulling.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks; stock replenishment.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful store environment with professional interactions.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store (bathrooms, floors, trash, etc.).
• Other duties as assigned.
