Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a Customer Service Associate to provide a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions, and help keep the store stocked and clean.

You’ll process unloading of merchandise and maintain a safe, respectful environment for all customers and teammates. The role emphasizes strong customer service, organization, and the ability to follow instructions while performing duties across the store.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpretOperational documents.
• Must lift 30–50 lbs and handle walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing and pulling.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication abilities.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at assigned cash register.
• Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and assist with unloading trucks and replenishment.
• Maintain a safe, respectful environment with professional interactions.
• Keep store clean and presentable, including bathrooms and floors.
• Other duties as assigned.
