Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Virginia LLC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our team and deliver a great shopping experience for every customer. You will assist customers, handle transactions, and help maintain a clean, well-stocked store.

The position is part-time and requires good communication, reliability, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Prior retail experience is preferred. We offer benefits and opportunities to grow within our nationwide network.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment while maintaining professional and friendly interactions
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, trash
• Other duties as assigned
