Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Virginia LLC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions, maintain store cleanliness, and help with stocking and receiving merchandise.

The role requires strong customer service, reliability, and physical stamina to perform duties such as lifting 30–50 lbs and standing for long periods. Part-time position with opportunities for growth and a team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail/customer service experience highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, and lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Handle sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect assets.
• Keep the store stocked and recover merchandise.
• Assist with receiving, unloading trucks, and stock replenishment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming store environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
