Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Virginia LLC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions at the register, maintain cash security, stock shelves, and help unload trucks.

The role requires strong service skills and physical ability to lift 30–50 lbs. Part-time position with duties including maintaining a clean store environment and providing friendly, professional interactions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail or similar environment preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs., and perform related physical tasks.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; good problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and unload trucks; stock replenishment.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
