Job summary

Dollar Tree in Avon, IN is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate II to support daily store operations, merchandising, and customer service. You will be cross-trained to operate the cash register and perform front-end duties as needed.

The role requires strong customer service, organizational and math skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. You will help maintain a clean, safe, and inviting shopping environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store is preferred.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical duties as described.
• Ability to read and interpret operational documents is required.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.
• High level of integrity is required.
• Proficiency in basic math for cash accounting is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the daily operations of the store from merchandising to customer support.
• Cross-train to support cash register and front-end duties as needed.
• Receive merchandise, unload trucks, and process freight safely.
• Merchandise and stock as needed; maintain store cleanliness.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and colleagues.
• Manage sales transactions at the assigned cash register and protect assets.
• Other duties as assigned.
