Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail or service industry preferred.
• Ability to lift 30–50 lbs and stand/walk for long periods.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required.
• Basic math for cash handling required.

Responsibilities

• Receiving merchandise, unloading trucks, and processing freight in a safe manner in accordance with productivity standards.
• Merchandising and stocking as needed.
• Assisting with cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, trash, and ensuring neatness.
• Maintaining a positive, safe environment with professional interactions with customers, associates and leaders.
• Managing sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintaining security of cash and protecting company assets.
• Other duties as assigned.
