Job summary

Family Dollar in Montgomery, AL seeks a part-time Customer Service Associate to deliver a friendly shopping experience. You will assist customers, process transactions at the register, and help maintain store cleanliness and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and read operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and frequent walking/standing.

• Strong organizational skills and teamwork spirit.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working the assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks; stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including restrooms and floors.
