Job summary

Family Dollar LLC is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to provide a friendly shopping experience at our Braidwood, IL location. You will assist customers, handle sales at the register, manage stock, and help unload shipments while maintaining a clean, safe store environment.

The role requires strong customer service skills, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and reliable teamwork. Local presence at 230 E Main Street, Braidwood, IL is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and unload trucks; stock replenishment.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and respectful store environment.
• Perform cleaning and restocking of bathrooms, floors, and trash removal.
• Other duties as assigned.
