Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC seeks a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions, stock shelves, receive merchandise, and maintain a clean store environment. Part-time hours with opportunities for growth are available in Rochester.

The role requires strong communication, reliability, and the ability to lift 30-50 lbs and stand for extended periods. Prior retail or customer service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and read operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30-50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, and bending.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms and floors.
• Other duties as assigned.
