Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. in Palm Bay, FL is seeking a part‑time Customer Service Associate to provide a friendly shopping experience and assist customers with questions and recommendations.

You will handle sales transactions at the register, maintain shelves, unload shipments, and help keep the store clean and safe for customers and team members. This role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment highly preferred.
• Ability to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing and pulling.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, and trash.
• Other duties as assigned.
