Job summary

Family Dollar is seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our team and deliver a great shopping experience for every customer. The role emphasizes friendly service, accurate transactions, and helping maintain a clean, well-stocked store in Littlefield, Texas.

Responsibilities include assisting customers, processing sales at the register, stocking merchandise, unloading trucks, and ensuring a safe, respectful environment for customers and colleagues.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs. and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Keep the store clean and restocked, including bathrooms.
• Receive merchandise and help unload trucks.
• Maintain a safe, friendly environment for customers and associates.
• Protect company assets and handle security of cash.
• Other duties as assigned.
