Family Dollar Stores Of Texas LLC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, process transactions, manage cash, and help with stocking and store maintenance.

This role emphasizes excellent customer service, reliability, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, with a friendly, professional approach to customers and fellow associates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs from floor to above shoulder height and handle frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help unload trucks; stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Maintain store cleanliness including bathrooms, floors, trash, and presentation.
• Other duties as assigned.
