Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Texas LLC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers with questions and recommendations, handle transactions at the register, and help keep the store stocked and clean.

Responsibilities include unloading merchandise, replenishing shelves, maintaining safety and a friendly environment, and performing other duties as assigned. This is a part-time position located at our store in Texas.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and read operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent standing and movement.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills required.
• Strong organizational and decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
• Keep the store stocked and merchandise recovered.
• Receive merchandise and help unload trucks; stock replenishment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful store environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
