Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC in Lindenwold, NJ is seeking a part-time retail associate to assist customers, process transactions, and stock merchandise. You will maintain store cleanliness and safety while delivering friendly service.

The role requires reliable attendance, ability to lift 30–50 lbs, and strong communication skills; prior retail or customer-service experience is preferred, with opportunities to grow within the company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks.
• Excellent customer service and relationship skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks.
• Stock replenishment in accordance with productivity standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Maintain store cleanliness including restrooms, floors, and trash.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
