Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to deliver a friendly shopping experience. You will assist customers, process transactions, stock and maintain store cleanliness, and support merchandise unloading.

The role requires strong customer service, the ability to lift 30–50 lbs, and excellent communication. Prior retail experience is preferred and on-site work is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and handle frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, and lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help unload trucks, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store including bathrooms, floors, and trash.
• Other duties as assigned.
