Job summary

Family Dollar is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate in Michigan to provide a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions, and help stock and maintain a clean store environment.

The role requires good communication, organization, and problem-solving skills, with physical ability to lift 30–50 lbs and stand/walk for shifts. Healthcare and retirement benefits may be available as part of a broader benefits program.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing and pulling.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Stock replenishment and merchandise recovery.
• Receive merchandise and assist unloading trucks.
• Ensure store cleanliness and restocking bathrooms, floors and trash.
