Job summary

Family Dollar in Cleveland, TX is hiring a part-time Customer Service Associate to assist customers, handle sales transactions, and maintain store cleanliness and stock levels. You will help unload trucks, stock shelves, and ensure a safe, friendly shopping environment. Prior retail or service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment preferred
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and stand for long periods
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise
• Receive merchandise and stock replenish per productivity standards
• Maintain a clean, safe, and presentable store environment
