Job summary

Family Dollar LLC is seeking a Customer Service Associate in Maine to provide a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions at the register, and help keep the store stocked and organized.

Responsibilities include unloading merchandise, stocking shelves, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring a safe, friendly environment. Part-time role with opportunities for growth within a national retail chain.

Qualifications

• Prior customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs. and perform physical tasks associated with the role.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register and maintain cash security.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise as needed.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks and replenishment.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms and floors.
• Other duties as assigned.
