Job summary

Family Dollar LLC in Standish, ME is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to deliver a friendly shopping experience. You will assist customers with questions and recommendations, manage transactions at the register, and help keep the store stocked and clean.

The role requires good communication, the ability to follow instructions, lift up to 50 lbs, and maintain a safe, respectful environment for customers and teammates. Prior retail or service experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and associates.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms and floors.
• Other duties as assigned.
